June 12 is an important day on the Biblical Calendar. This day commemorates The Feast of Pentecost! To the Jew, this was a harvest celebration remembering God’s miracles at Mt. Sinai.

         To the Church, it is a birthday celebration, for on this day the Holy Ghost fell on the church and sent her forth on mission.

         This was one of three days every believing family was commanded to bring an “extra offering” before the Lord.

“Three times a year you keep the feast…” Exodus 23:14

         They were not to come before the Lord empty handed.

“…none shall appear before me empty…” Exodus 23:15

         Here are six promised favors for those who obey:

1.   Angelic leadership to assist you toward God-given purpose and goals.

“Behold I send an angel before you to keep you in the way, and to bring you to the place I have prepared…” Exodus 23:20

2.   God will take up your battles.

“then I will be an enemy to your enemies…” Exodus 23:22

3.   Sufficient daily provision.

“He will bless your bread and water…” Exodus 23:25

4.   God will bring healing and health.

“…and I will take sickness from among you…” Exodus 23:25

5.   You will live longer.

“…I will fulfill the number of your days…” Exodus 23:26

6.   God will remove every hindrance from your possession that He has promised.

“Little by little I will drive them out until you have increased and possess the land…” Exodus 23:30
